Dockli updates itself, so new features simply appear. This page is where you can see what changed in each version and when. To check which version you’re on, open Settings → About in Dockli — the What’s new link there brings you back to this page.
Updates download in the background and install the next time you restart or sign in to Windows. See Updates and maintenance for how that works.
Gradual arrival
A release reaches each machine the next time Dockli checks for updates and the user then restarts or signs in, so colleagues may move to a new version a day or so apart. Everyone converges on the current version on their own.
1.0.23 — October 2026
New
- Share files and folders from File Explorer. Right-click a file or folder and choose Share, or use the Share button in the details pane. Invite people with Can edit or Can view and an optional message, or copy a link and choose who it works for — people in your organization, people who already have access, or only the people you choose.
- Manage access. From the Share dialog, see who has access and which links exist, switch anyone between edit and view, or remove access. See Sharing files and folders.
- Sharing follows your site’s policy. Dockli only offers the link options your SharePoint site allows, and tells you up front if you don’t have permission to share an item.
- Ask Dockli AI → Custom prompt (Spark). Right-click a file, or select up to five files, and choose Ask Dockli AI → Custom prompt. Dockli AI opens with those files shown as Referencing — it reads them, and can act on exactly those files (rename, move, share or email them) from your prompt. See Using the assistant.
- What’s new in Settings. Settings → About now links to these release notes.
Improved
- AI Mode button in the file view (Spark). The AI Mode button is back in the file view header. It opens Dockli AI for the library or folder you’re in, separate from search.
- Search is search again. The file view’s Search box now only searches; asking Dockli AI happens through the AI Mode button or the right-click menu.
Fixed
- Clicking or typing in the Dockli AI panel no longer clears the files you have selected.
For IT admins
- No action required. Sharing uses the Microsoft 365 permissions Dockli was already granted — there are no new consent scopes. Your tenant’s and sites’ sharing policies continue to apply.
